Keynese Karşı Marxın derlenmesine bir grup Marksist iktisatçı katılmış, ayrıca metin iktisatçılarla sendikacıların katıldığı bir konferansta tartışıldıktan sonra basılmış.John Eatonun kitabı elli yıl öncesinin tarihini taşıyor. Ancak, kimi liberal iktisatçılar ve sendikal çevrelerin krize karşı Keynes teorisine uygun önlem paketleri önerdiği günümüz için tam zamanında yayınlanmış sayılabilir. Eatonun Keynesi geniş emekçi kitlelerin anlayacağı bir dille eleştirisi ve çevirmen Tonguç Okun yalın dili kitabın önemli özelliği.
